RE: Report.nsf ~Umberto Nongeroson 16.Jan.03 02:55 PM a Web browser Domino Server 6.0Windows NT
Hello Filip,
Prior to Domino 6, it was sometimes hard to tell when certain agents were misbehaving. In Domino 6, things have been added to get a better handle on such things. The first message is simply indicating that the agent in reports.nsf would run more efficiently if the DB was indexed. The choice to index any given db is a choice an admin must make between the benefits (speed) vs. the cost (space for the index, updating the index). Given the fact that the number of documents in reports.nsf is probably small, having an unindexed db doesn't affect the performance much. On the other hand, an index for the db would probably be small so creating an index isn't a bad idea. Its up to you.
The second message isn't really an error as it may appear. It is simply saying that there are no daily reports requests in the db so that Daily report agent has nothing to do. This is not a problem and doesn't hurt anything. If you don't plan to create any daily scheduled reports, just go into Designer and disable the agent. If you later decide to create daily report requests, just go back in and enable the agent again.
